Snow moves in this morning; travel disruptions possible by afternoon Unmute WSIL SNOW! It s in the forecast today and the amount expected is trending UP. Light snow will begin to spread in areas of southeast Missouri along Highway 67 around sunrise and gradually spread east. By 8 a.m. snow will be moving across the Mississippi River into southwest Illinois and western Kentucky. By 10 a.m. snow will be moving into communites like McLeansboro, Harrisburg, Rosiclare, and Murray, Kentucky. The heaviest snow is likely to fall from mid-morning through early afternoon. While temperatures will be running near, or even just above, freezing, snow could come down heavy enough at times to lead to build up on roads in southern Illinois and southeast Missouri. ....
