Eight face felony drug charges in Madison County

Methamphetamine and fentanyl dominated the charges filed June 9, which include:
• Jeffrey J. Colonna, 32, of Alton, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 2 felony. The case was presented by the Wood River Police Department. On June 8 Colonna allegedly was found to be in possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $30,000.
• George W. Holliday Jr., 30, of Granite City, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony. The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department. On June 8 Holliday allegedly was found to be in possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $30,000. ....
