Of the Bakken Pipeline need to use eminant domain to secure a path for the project, its apparently ok with Iowa Governor terry branstad. That project, also known as the Dakota Access pipeline. Is upsetting several siouxland farmers whos land is needed for the pipeline across the state. Eminant domain allows the state to take private property for public use with financial payment to the land owner. Brandstad says theyre not taking the land away.
