Ivan McKee has held the Glasgow Provan seat for the SNP.
He has retained his seat after first winning it in 2016, defeating Paul Martin by a majority of 4783.
McKee increased his majority to more than 7000 over Labour

His nearest challenger was Martin McElroy, of Labour, a Glasgow councillor, who took 8683 votes.
The Conservatives were in third place, with Annie Wells, who has been an MSP for the last five years, taking 2687 votes.
The Greens won 2366 with Kim Long, also a Glasgow councillor, coming in fourth place. ....

THE Glasgow Provan seat was created after boundaries were redrawn 10 years ago.
It is one of the seats that the SNP took from Labour in 2016 completing its takeover of all the city’s Holyrood constituencies.
Ivan McKee is defending the second smallest majority in the city but still had a lead of almost 5000 votes over Labour in 2016.
The area takes in East End communities like Easterhouse, Carntyne, Ruchazie, Dennistoun and Robroyston.

LibDems left red-faced after sending Argyll and Bute leaflets to Tain

But that s exactly what the LibDems have done, sending leaflets meant for Argyll and Bute to a town about 150 miles away .
A National reader who lives in Tain, a coastal parish just along the East Coast from Inverness, got in touch after he was sent a leaflet from Alan Reid, who is campaigning to represent Argyll and Bute in the Scottish Parliament after May s election.
