Strawberry Hill Bowling Club hosted the annual Mayor s Charity Bowls Match on Sunday, 2 May. The tournament was long anticipated after the disappointment of having to cancel last year s event due to covid, which would have marked the start of the club’s centenary year celebrations. Strawberry Hill Bowling Club members The Mayor and Mayoress of Richmond-upon-Thames were in attendance and, bringing an afternoon of sunshine with them. Teams from the three council owned bowls clubs at Hampton, Teddington and Strawberry Hill fought it out in a Covid-19 secure competition to win the Mayor s Cup.
