“Sporting clubs also use the mountain drive for training.
“Whilst we welcome all visitors to the area there has been an increase in littering both on the drive and the surrounding roads.
“Plastic water bottles make up a substantial amount of this litter.

“I would ask anyone using the drive and the roads to respect the environment as well as having a thought for the residents who are clearing litter every week.”
The Sinn Féin representative continued, “I have contacted several Council Departments about solutions to the problem.

“And have requested a litter pick of both the Forest Road and Mountain Road. ....
