King Soopers has launched its $5 million Community Immunity giveaway Thursday, giving COVID-19 vaccine recipients the chance the win five $1 million checks and other prizes throughout the month, the grocery chain said in a news release.
This giveaway, lasting through July 10, intends to support President Joe Biden’s national effort to get at least 70% of the America s adult population vaccinated against COVID-19 by July 4., the firm said.
“Since day one of this pandemic, King Soopers’ most urgent priority has been the health and safety of our associates, customers and communities,” said Steve Burnham, president of King Soopers. “This is designed to inspire more adults to get vaccinated and help Colorado recover and move ahead.”
