A 22-year-old man was shot shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, police said. The shooting occurred near 26th and Madison streets in Wilmington, according to police.
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said. The shooting comes a day after four people were shot in Wilmington s East Side neighborhood on Saturday.
No other information was immediately available on Sunday s shooting.

A 19-year-old man is in stable condition following a Thursday evening shooting in Wilmington s East Side section, the city s police department said Thursday night.
Police said the shooting occurred around 5:24 p.m. in the area of Eighth and Pine streets. The man was located at the scene and transported to a local hospital, police said.
The shooting marked the second time in about 24 hours that a person was shot in the area. Wednesday, police said a 16-year-old boy was shot after 5 p.m. in the 500 block of E. 8th St., which is between Lombard and Pine streets. ....
