emily: startling. cindy: 5:00 a.m. on a friday morning. that will wake you up. step outside this morning, and a little nip out there. it is breezy. that wind is really going to make a big difference this morning. the temperature is 48. we ve had colder mornings. but that wind out of the north-northwest sustained at 14, it is gusting higher. look at that along the coastline. we re gusting over 20 miles per hour. so definitely making a difference out there this morning even though the temperatures don t look all that bad. we re running 50 s north shore. low 40 s in worcester county. mid 50 s in the south shore, plymouth. the cape still running in the lower 50 s. here s the deal. we ve got clear skies, high pressure nosing in. so sunshine all day long, but this northerly wind is draining down cooler air. temperatures don t recover all that much. in fact, it s going to take until 9:00 a.m. to get you to 50 degrees, and we re still only in the lower 50 s here at luncht lunch ....
