Heath RYE, N.H. – Jeanne P. Heath, 87, formerly of Middle Road in Portsmouth, N.H., passed away peacefully Monday March 29, 2021. She was born Aug. 11, 1933, in Rumford. After graduating from Portsmouth High, Jeanne attended the University of New Hampshire where she earned a Bachelor’s in Foreign Language. She was also active in the UNH Greek system as a member of the Phi Mu sorority. Jeanne worked for several years at a local insurance agency in Portsmouth, but her favorite job was working as the Newington Town Clerk. As a longtime Newington resident, she proudly held that position for many years, serving the local residents. She served her country as part of the Naval reserves. ....
