A bill requiring the U.S. State Department to report to Congress on reunions of families separated by the Korean War is now one step closer to becoming law after passing a House committee.
On Wednesday, the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs passed the Divided Families Reunification Act, reintroduced by New York Representative Grace Meng after it failed to pass a vote in the Senate at the end of the previous Congress.
