(Shutterstock) Donald A. Vogt, born in New Haven May 22, 1946, passed away peacefully is his home on Sunday, December 6, 2020 comforted by Crystal Thomas, his wife and companion for over 40 years. Son of the late Milton and Bernice (Hoyt) Vogt and stepfather to Coral Thomas Torgerson of North Carolina, Scot Thomas (and Tanya Cutolo) of Killingworth, and Heather Thomas (and Chris Mitrzyk) of North Branford. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister Marilyn Slifka of Madison, sister-in-law Maureen Vogt of Guilford, sister-in-law Maureen Clancey Jackson (Keith Stephens) of Georgia, and brother-in-law John Clancey (Gayle) of West Haven CT. In addition, he was an extraordinary Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Keith Vogt. ....
