With their recent donation to the ‘Building a New Craigholme’ campaign in Ailsa Craig, the Twynstra family said they wanted to give something back to the community.
And give back they have – the family recently presented a $100,000 cheque to Craigwiel Gardens toward the rebuild and renovation project of the Craigholme long-term care facility. ....

The ‘Building a New Craigholme’ capital campaign at Craigwiel Gardens in Ailsa Craig has received a boost in the form of a $25,000 donation from Gilrad Developments Inc.
Michael Radcliffe and Barry Gilmour of Gilrad presented their donation to Craigholme.

Mainstreet Credit Union donates $20,000 towards 'Building a New Craigholme' project

The ‘Building a New Craigholme’ capital campaign committee said recently it was pleased to receive the commitment of a $20,000 donation from Mainstreet Credit Union, a co-operative financial institution with locations across Southwestern Ontario, including Ailsa Craig where Craigwiel Gardens/Craigholme is located.
‘Building a New Craigholme’ capital campaign committee chairperson Jackie Wells said of the Mainstreet donation, “With Mainstreet’s generous commitment we are closer to our $1.25 capital fundraising campaign goal. Craigholme must be updated if we are to continue to offer the best possible long-term care to our residents. Craigholme must also comply with the provincial government’s latest design standards for long-term care homes by 2025. Failing to meet these, Craigholme may not get a licence to operate. We must rebuild.” ....
