Grantham area defendants face the music in court

Grantham area defendants brought before the courts recently include:
Ivor Allan Wakerley, 58, of Cecil Street, Grantham: guilty of being the driver of a BMW when an accident occurred causing damage to a Vauxhall Astra and failing to stop; failing to give his name and address or report to a police station or constable within 24 hours; and driving without insurance, all in Dysart Road, Grantham, on September 8, 2019. He was fined £880, ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending.
Dennis Ooko Tolo, 54, of Beck Gardens, Grantham: guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when being suspected of committing an offence in Grantham on February 20, 2020. He was fined £630, ordered to pay a £63 victim surcharge and £300 costs and banned from driving for 24 months.

Grantham area defendants brought before the courts recently include:
Kane Bobby Ashley Brackenbury, 28, of The Eden Hotel, North Parade, Grantham: admits having in his possession a quantity of class A drug cocaine in Grantham on October 16, 2020; stealing clothing from Boyes on October 12, 2020; and stealing clothing from Matalan on October 6, 2020. He was discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £40 towards costs.
Ryan John Inman, 22, of Waggon and Horses, High Street, Caythorpe: admits driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A607 at Fulbeck on September 13, 2020 with 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath â the legal limit is 35mcg. Power cut affects Grantham homes

A power cut is affecting more than 100 properties in Grantham.
Western Power Distribution says it hopes to resolve the situation by 2pm.
A total of 146 properties in the New Beacon Road area of town are still reported to be affected whereas power has been restored in more than 400 properties.
