A police officer shot a deer beloved by a town in Michigan, prompting a “Justice for Annie” campaign, horrifying footage shows. Annie was seen by Pokagon Band Tribal Police officer David Loza on the driveway of a family's home in Lawrence while he was assisting the Van Buren County Sheriff's office on an unrelated child support incident. Nevaeh Sylvester, who looked after the deer, filmed the officer holding Annie by a collar before taking out his gun and shooting her dead.
Graphic video shared on social media shows Annie wrestling with Officer David Loza who had slipped a lead around her neck, before she is shot and killed outside the property.
