A man has a severe wound after he was stabbed in the neck in Parkland.
Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were called to the Woodmark Apartments in the 2400 block of 96th Street South around 2 a.m. Thursday after the victim began going door to door trying to get help.
A neighbor called 911 after the man showed up at her door with slashes and stab wounds to his neck. Police said the victim lives in the apartment complex.
“I was trying to ask him questions because I don’t know him well enough, and he couldn’t even speak. He sounded like he was gurgling blood and he kept spitting out blood,” said Nevaeh Brewer.
