American canyon. Getting a look outside your Berkeley Hills camera right now, we are seeing conditions out there that are very patchy. Fog will see that Berkeley Hills camera here in just a second. But it is pushed right in there to the surface. And its a very thin veil of fog where youre seeing it now that will be seen here in just one minute on the screen and maybe not. So there we definitely very, very foggy right there into the bay. Currently. Now that fog is especially dense as you make your way on up into nevado santa rosa, American Canyon, even out towards conquered and right down the east bay shoreline right along the coastline, too. So the spots right here are looking at our densest. A fog this morning. Aside from that, were dry, just some spots of mist and drizzle where you are entering that patchy fog. Curren ....
Areas to tax. San francisco was one of our sunny spots to sleep. Its very foggy out there across not just the city, but look at this. About half of uc berkeley is under nothing but sunshine. The other half is just packed right in with that blanket of cloud cover. We have a High Pressure ridge over place right now and its resulting in sinking air and what thats doing is pushing that fog really condensed into the bay. So its a very dense layer of it. And its taking a while to burn off where youre seeing fog. Its nothing but great where youre seeing sunshine. Its nothing but blue skies up above. We are still seeing some fog in the north bay, despite the fact that those dense fog advisories have technically expired. So watch your travel on 1, 0, 1, 37 as well as between app and billie jo as well as along 80 as you traverse from vallejo down through oakland and right along the bayshore to where its very foggy in the spots. Yeah, it will be quite the change from the fog this morning to the warm and Sunny Afternoon that we have just around the corner looking outside from the embarcadero as that is actually one of our sunny spots better around San Francisco. Youve got a whole lot of fog all the way into the south bay. You can see in san jose there is not a lot of sunshine for you just yet. We are looking at those great conditions all the way from the south bay on up the bayshore, especially the east bay shoreline. Very fogged in there through the carquinez and up into parts of the north bay as well as the coast where were seeing low visibility. It gets real low really quickly. So make sure youre being mindful of that as youre driving into work. Dont be rushing. Give yourself some extra time this morning. We have dense fog advis ....
Skies are up above. But once you head down into the bay that veil of fog very, very evident across much of the east bay shoreline out towards up into the north bay and out into the carquinez too. Pretty wide coverage here. Conquered out towards ville, a help up through American Canyon through napa. Santa rosa through nevado down the coastline and along the east bay shoreline. These areas are particularly foggy this morning and this maps not exaggerating when it says visibility at 0. It is well below a quarter mile for many areas. We will see big improvements come the late morning and by the afternoon were sitting under some sunshine in the meantime, though, we are under some dense fog advisories from the National WeatherService Across the north bay.
