But you are going to have the gop still has the majority of the senate. and so they are going to have the upper hand when it comes to setting up witnesses. i think that there will be enough republican senators that side with democrats on the vote of going forward with the impeachment trial in the first place, but again, if the party wants to call witnesses, it will be difficult potentially difficult for some of the same republican senators to say no we don t want to hear from people just because democrats are saying that is your pin to tspi gop. i wonder then, and again this is not clear that all 53 republicans would vote in lock step say on calling a joe biden, but i imagine the president and some republicans see that as a political opportunity given that biden is currently the leading democratic candidate in 2020. it certainly is a political opportunity and i think those who are close to the president are salivating at it. but i think that it will be a potentially difficult m ....
