April 21 Moana? One word? Awesome! I have just returned home from witnessing what can only be described as a visual feast. For a tad over an hour my eyes were on stalks taking in the many amazing costumes, props and set pieces on display, created by what must have been an army of dedicated volunteers. This is also a collaboration between Nelson Youth Theatre and Nelson Tasman Pasifika Community Trust, a necessary arrangement in my opinion to ensure that the subject matter was approached with both sensitivity and truth.
