Latest travel and flooding updates this Wednesday as Storm Christoph has already closed several roads in the region expected to be hit with a second of three days of torrential rain.
Knowsley Lane in Stockbridge Lane looks like a lake and is closed, while a sink hole has opened up in Ashbourne Road in Aigburth.
East Midland Railway trains are off between Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street and Northern trains are also disrupted.
