Sixty more pupils and six staff members have been told to isolate after a primary school teacher tested positive for Covid-19.
Headteacher Neil Mindham said it was highly unlikely the cases are related due to the time gaps involved. I would like to thank our parents for the fantastic support we have received over the past few days, he said. We are grateful for all the support from our families, staff and pupils, particularly in following guidance sent home and for helping with remote learning.
Gaywood school teacher tests positive for Covid-19

A teacher has tested positive for coronavirus at a Gaywood school.
Following advice from Public Health England, 60 pupils and six staff members at Gaywood Primary School were told to isolate at home yesterday afternoon.
This confirmed case comes after 115 students and 15 staff members were told on Sunday to isolate at home after a student received a positive Covid-19 test result.

Neil Mindham, headteacher, has stressed it is highly unlikely these confirmed cases are related due to the time gaps involved.
