Fay Hope Parks, age 98, passed away in Ohio on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021. Her funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, in the Chapel of Memories at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. The family will have a 30-minute visitation beginning at 1 p.m. the day of the service. Her interment will be at the Necessity Cemetery following the funeral service.
Fay was born on Oct. 30, 1922, in Breckenridge, Texas, to the late Ellis and Willie (Sullivan) Hope. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1940. Early in life she worked at a corner grocery store in Breckenridge where she met her husband, Ted, who she married in 1950. They moved to Snyder and Fay became a member of the Home Demonstration Club. They eventually left Texas when Ted was offered a job in Palm Springs, Calif. Fay fell in love with Palm Springs. They had many friends there who they would go on adventures and fly as a group in their private planes to various places including Alaska. ....

Lisa Dianne Langford was born Dec. 22, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas, to parents Lester Jean Slentz and Wanda Rahe Mahon. Lisa went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 14, 2020, while in the COVID wing of Graham Oaks Care Center in Graham.
Lisa spent her early childhood years and first five years of school at Levelland. The family moved to Graham during the summer of 1963. A few months after the move, Lisa’s dad Lester Slentz was killed in a car wreck. The family remained in Graham where Lisa attended school, with her graduating in 1970.
After graduation Lisa worked as a sales representative for a distributing company. In May 1992, Lisa began working for Wells Oilfield Services as a secretary/receptionist. She worked at Wells for eleven and one-half years retiring from there in October 2003, to become a full-time rancher’s wife. ....
