RIYADH: The Saudi Space Commission has revealed the tasks and scientific research that will be conducted during the journey of Saudi astronauts Rayyanah Barnawi and Ali Al-Qarni as part of a mission to the International Space Station later this year. 据曹臻介绍，蟹状星云是为数极少的在射电、红外、光学、紫外、X射线和伽马射线波段都有辐射的天体。历史上对其光谱已经进行了大量的观测研究，是非常明亮且稳定的高能辐射源。
明亮、稳定，因为这些特制，蟹状星云在多个波段被作为标准烛光。好比一把测量其它天体辐射强度的“标尺”，而且是北半球唯一的一把。
因此，蟹状星云被天文学家们视为“福星”。
位于甘孜稻城海子山的高海拔宇宙线观测站（简称LHAASO）电磁粒子探测器（ED）阵列安装工程全部完成。中科院高能所供图
LHAASO为天体辐射强度“标尺”增加了新刻度
为探索宇宙线起源和加速原理，国家和四川斥资12亿元，支持中科院高能所在海拔4410米的海子山上，建设高海拔宇宙线观测站，力图通过“捕捉”这些“天外来客”，反推其来源和加速机制。
