To celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week, Nebraska Tourism recognized six tourism employees from across the state with the Outstanding Frontline Employee Award. This award honors individuals who go above and beyond while interacting with travelers and locals. They strive to enhance visitors' experiences and demonstrate high levels of customer service and pride in their destination. All winners were nominated by local communities and tourism industry partners. Receiving the 2024 Outstanding Frontline Employee Award from the KBRX area is Jamie Frederick with Douglas Street Coffee Co. in O'Neill. Jamie has had a small business in O'Neill for more than 10 years and continues to promote other local businesses as much as she can. She is an accommodating and friendly owner who takes care of her employees and keeps many returning to help whenever they can.
