Neal Lewing, a lifelong Montana singer/songwriter, actor, playwright, poet, author and educator, will return to the University of Montana Feb. 25 to celebrate 50 years since matriculating as a professional entertainer and help raise awareness of the need for music and musicians. Proceeds benefit the UM Music Scholarship program.
Guests were nodding along as The Montana ShamRockers sang “I’ll be Home with Bells On.” The quintet brought their music and shenanigans to the stage at KwaTaqNuk Resort Dec. 20 for a Warming Center benefit. Just a few nights earlier, they delivered their annual free Christmas concert at the Theatre on the Lake in Polson.
The Department of Human Resources-Families First Project for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes is hosting a free Christmas Benefit Dinner and Concert, titled “Help for the Homeless,” from 3:30-7 p.m. Dec. 20 at KwaTaqNuk Resort in Polson.
