Calling All Trades: Jobs for a Green Economy Workshop Series Launches July 7

The City of Santa Monica’s Economic Recovery Task Force will be presenting Calling All Trades: Jobs for a Green Economy, an 8-part speaker series.
Experienced educators and trades professionals will share the challenges, successes, and current insider perspectives about careers in the trades and attendees will gain knowledge about how to pursue jobs in the growing green economy.
This online series intends to inform, prepare, and encourage people who may be interested in having a career in the trades such as electrical, plumbing, electric vehicle infrastructure, and renewable energy. Speakers will discuss the importance of recognizing opportunities in the trades and how to pursue the pre-requisite education, finding employment, and the soft skills needed to climb the ladder in the trades.
