Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja, has granted bail to the Bayelsa-based news blogger and owner of the Naija Live TV, Mr. Saint Mienpamo Onitsha. Onitsha was charged to the Federal High Court, Abuja on alleged cyberstalking in suit numbered FJC/ABJ/CR/492/2023 between the Inspector-General of Police as Complainant and Mienapamo Onitsha Saint as Defendants. He was later remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre following his arraignment.

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the remand of controversial Bayelsa blogger, Mienpamo Onitsha Saint at the Kuje Correctional Centre, over criminal defamation against the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Major General Barry Ndiomu (retd). The defendant, who is the proprietor of Naijalivetv.com, is standing trial on three-count charges bordering on alleged willful libel, threat, causing danger and insult against the PAP Interim Administrator.
