Unknown assailants have shot and killed a point of sales, POS, operator, Mr Louis Enoshi, a native of Umuogudu Akpu Ngbo in the Ohaukwu Local Government
Some gunmen have reportedly killed a Point of Sales (POS) operator in Ebonyi State. The victim identified as Louis Enoshi, was said to be a native of Umuogudu-Akpu, Ngbo in the Ohaukwu local government area of the state. The incident according to reports, happened on Wednesday when some unidentified individuals raided his residence in Ezzamgbo demanding money from him. He was said to have been shot and killed during the raid; his mobile phone, cash and POS machine were alao stolen.
Hundreds of youths from Governor Peter Mbah's Owo community in the Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State on Tuesday stormed the streets to protest against alleged land-grabbing and high-handedness of their traditional ruler, Igwe Okeke Arum and former President General of the town, Mr. Okeke Akpu. In a viral video seen by SaharaReporters on Tuesday, the protesting youths chanted solidarity songs and displayed placards bearing different inscriptions including: "Okeke Arum, leave Owo Kingdom alone", and "Okeke Arum mind Mburu Owo Autonomous Community."
