Andres Centino, has lauded field units in Eastern Mindanao for their accomplishments against the communist terrorist group (CTG) operating in the region. He made this statement during his visit to the 1003rd Infantry Brigade in Bunawan District, Davao City, and the 403rd Infantry Brigade in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on February 16. "I came here to relay the congratulations of the President to the units of Eastern Mindanao Command for their successful campaign that included the dismantling of Sub-Regional Committee (SRC) 5 and the neutralization of CTG leaders Jorge Madlos and Menardo Villanueva, among others," Centino said in a statement Thursday.
