(Screengrab from PTV) MANILA - Four bettors became instant millionaires of the new year after winning the nearly PHP43-million jackpot of the Lotto 6/42, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Friday. In an advisory, the PCSO said the bettors guessed the winning combination 23-01-09-24-12-07 during Thursday night's draw with a total prize of PHP42,945,708.20. The winning tickets were purchased by two bettors in Makati City, Metro Manila, one in Guagua, Pampanga, and one in Maragondon, Cavite. To claim the check, the bettors must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards. As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent final tax. A total of 120 other bettors who guessed five out of the six winning combinations won PHP24,000 each, the PCSO said.
