Interestingly not even a single Lok Sabha seat has been allotted to the PDP as per seat adjustment but the Congress said that the party (PDP) is still part of the coalition.
BJP has expanded its base in Kargil where the party had no presence till 2018. Apart from winning two seats, BJP lost very narrowly in three other constituencies.

Although the top leaderships of the National Conference and Congress have yet to final seat-sharing arrangements for the Kargil Council elections to counter the BJP, Rahul Gandhi will start the party s campaign on August 25 by addressing a rally.
