New Delhi, June 4 : With the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic receding in Delhi after daily cases declined to below 500, the Delhi government is using the respite to prepare for a possible third wave. It swung into action to augment the number of beds in government hospitals.
To avoid the situation that the people of the national capital faced in the second wave of Covid-19, the government has started working on revamping several existing hospitals to increase the number of beds and also building new hospitals. ....

Delhi govt-run coronavirus vaccination centres to open for 24 hours from today

To deal with the alarming rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, the vaccination centres in Delhi will operate for 24 hours at all government-run hospitals in the national capital from Tuesday onwards.
As per an order issued by the Delhi Health Department on Monday, the hospital authorities under the purview of the Delhi government have been directed to operate one-third of the vaccination centres from 9 pm to 9 am. ....
