A plane has crashed in a Yeovil field.
At least two police vehicles, two ambulances and two fire engines attended Limington this afternoon (April 28).
Pictures from the scene show the propeller separated from the wreckage of the rest of the plane in a field near Church Street.
A cordon was in place for a number of hours.

Plane crashes in Somerset near Royal Navy airfield
Emergency services have been called out to the scene with a cordon being set up by Avon and Somerset Police
A plane has crashed in near a Royal Navy airfield in the South West this afternoon.
Multiple emergency service crews have been called out to the scene in Limington, located around five miles north of Yeovil in South Somerset.
The site of the crash is within a mile of the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, although it is not known yet if the plane is connected to the air base.
Pictures taken at the scene of the crash show that the plane s propeller has separated from the main body of the aircraft.

The charity Navy Wings, which restores, maintains and flies historic aircraft, said its Hawker Sea Fury T.20 had made a forced landing in a field next to RNAS Yeovilton on Wednesday.
The crash happened following a problem with the engine on a routine training flight, it added.

Both pilots were taken to hospital, where one is staying overnight for “further observation” and the other discharged, the charity said.
