China has marked the Chinese Communist Party s 100-year festivities with the unveiling of a new destroyer - adding to its rapidly growing naval power.

China has celebrated the ruling communist party’s centennial with the commission of a new navy destroyer, adding to its rapidly growing sea power.
The Kaifeng, the fourth Type 052D destroyer commissioned this year, was revealed for the first time on Friday in an official statement.
According to the Global Times – a Chinese Communist Party run news outlet - the superpower’s shipbuilding industry has “developed rapidly” leading to a steep rise in the number of ships being commissioned.
