No. No one no one ever from that i can recall explained to me where the failure occurred or held themselves accountable or provided an apology. Ive stuck with the va, and ive had great medical care and met and became friends with a lot of medical professionals within the va, but the system clearly, clearly failed in my case. The fire started inside a retail store on Mission Street between 22nd and 23rd streets. At least four people were treated for smoke inhalation. Katie marzullo is live at the scene. Sky 7 hd was overhead when this fire was raging this afternoon, can you see the dark heavy smoke and flames at times too. The fire erupted at 1 00, just after 1uk 00, it got big very quickly. The top two floors were all storage and there was so much stuff in there they could not get into those areas, they pulled everyone out and then they were able to breakthrough some windows that had bars on them, and thats when flames shot through the roof. The heavy fire load creating a lot of smoke that is a toxic level out here. People shouldnt be standing around here ....
