Show Transcript TRAVERS: THE BODY OF A 14-YEAR-OLD TEEN WHO DROWNED, WAS FOUND TODAY IN LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN. IT COMES AFTER DAYS OF SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS. THE NOPD CONFIRMED THAT CHARLES COOPER’S BODY WAS FOUND NEAR STARS AND STRIPES BOULEVARD AND HAYNE BOULEVARD. EMS AND THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE AND FISHERIES ASSISTED IN THE SEARCH ALL WEEKEND AFTER COOPER WENT MISSING FRIDAY. HIS MOTHER SAID COOPER AND HIS FRIENDS JUMPED IN THE WATER TO FIND ONE OF THEIR SHOES THAT FELL IN. SHE CAN’T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED TO HER CHILD. HE WAS THE BEST. HE LOVED FOOTBALL. HE LOVED MUSIC. HE LOVED PLAYING GAMES. HE HAD A LOT OF FRIENDS. HE WAS CHALLENGING. I AM CHALLENGING. HE IS DEFINITELY HIS MOTHER.
