Islamabad : The Environment Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) would complete development and beautification work involving millions of rupees in Sector D-12 by end of this month.
According to the latest data shared by CDA’s Director General Environment Naveed Khan Tareen, the development of new parks and jogging tracks, installation of street lights, restoration of play areas and installation of steel fences would be completed in the coming weeks.
“I want to share the good news with the residents of the sector D-12 that the development work being carried out by the CDA’s Environment Wing has entered into final stages and it will be completed in the coming weeks,” he said.

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority is successfully implementing the Miyawaki Forests project and the first phase of work on various locations has been completed ahead of time.
The official record showed that initial work has been done in Fatima Jinnah Park and sector I-10 where thousands of local plants have been planted according to the techniques adopted to develop Miyawaki forests.
It is believed that the Miyawaki forests currently being planted would grow in next two to four
years but they would turn into thick jungle in ten years.

CDA, IWMB join hands to protect Margalla Hills

Islamabad : The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) have decided to launch joint efforts for cleanliness and conservation of Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP) that exhibits the green character of the capital city.
According to the details, the officials of CDA and IWMB would prepare proposals for joint efforts that would be discussed in the meeting to be held in the coming weeks. The proposals would focus on cleanliness; preservation of flora and fauna; restoration and protection of wildlife habitats and promotion of bird and animal species in the MHNP.
