Former personal injury attorney Alex Murdaugh, already convicted of murdering his wife and son, now faces 22 additional financial fraud-related charges, including defrauding his late housekeeper's estate and insurance companies of millions of dollars.
The 22-count indictment of financial fraud includes allegations that Murdaugh stole $3.5 million from the estate of long-time housekeeper Gloria Satterfield.
Alex Murdaugh—who was sentenced in March to life in prison for murdering his wife Maggie Murdaugh and son Paul Murdaugh—was once again indicted on multiple federal criminal charges.
