Atwood Museum
CHATHAM The Atwood Museum, home of the Chatham Historical Society, will reopen for the 2021 season on May 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum will be open Fridays and Saturdays in May and open Tuesday to Saturday  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on June 1 through Columbus Day Weekend. 
All exhibits from 2020 will remain on view (with some new additions)  for the 2021 season including: “Turning Point,” commemorating the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower and the stories of the early European settlers and the Native Americans, “Remembering our Heroes,” which honors the men and women who served in WWII, and the newly built wetu, a Wampanoag dwelling, on our grounds. ....
