Earlier this year, Ryan J. Eilbeck released Chillicothe Sounds, a new album from his solo project, Natural Sway. This week, Eilbeck is back with a new song and video, @ the counselor, a dance-friendly track about getting panic attacks in the middle of the night. The trippy video was filmed by Sylvie Mix in March and April of this year, with direction and editing by Natural Sway, plus an appearance by Death, who is credited as Alex, which seems like Death s ploy to make itself seem more approachable. The song was produced and recorded by Glenn Davis and is also available on streaming services. ....

But before he went, Eilbeck spent some time researching the area and discovered Chillicothe native Carrie Williams Clifford, a Black poet and activist born during the Civil War.
