ATHOL Haley’s announces publication of the “Legend of the Rainbow,” by Clare Green of Warwick. Adapted from a Lakota tale, the book for young children is illustrated by 7-year-old Sabina.
The “Legend of the Rainbow” offers an adaptation from the Native American Lakota Sioux story of the rainbow. It recounts the experience of Little Deer as seasons change, life flourishes and a rainbow brings promise.
