That region. This was disrupted by the storm. Jeff flock first with whats going on in lake charles, louisiana, i saw the wind whipping around a little earlier today, jeff and that looked pretty strong. That looked very strong. Reporter pardon maya experience but ive been in a hurricane and youre absolutely right and how strong . Well, look what its done. I mean, power lines down, trees everywhere. Look at this tree here. Im always fascinated by up close and personal with these things. Thats the definition there, of a tree snapped like a match stick. 150mile an hour winds can you see what it did through that house . Right down through the middle of the house and this is a story in a lot of places. Everything, you know, trees everywhere down, power lines down. They are going to be forever trying to get the power back restored here, and i think these are one off. Every house that i have seen, i said this two hours ago and ive been looking at houses since then, and ever since then, ive not
Is much larger. You can see it over my shoulder. The hen see fire is moving. It didnt have air support today. Those resources had to go to other areas that need the help even more. First came the smoke. Then a few licks of flames. Then they served notice. After a quiet note, this would be a day for moving and moving fast. Neil and his wife kathleen knew all about that firsthand. Looked down at the window and theres a small area of fire. It was rapidly increasing in size. They live a few yards from the Lightning Strike that started all this. It was thunder and lightning all evening. It really got loud. What had been one fire yesterday became three this morning. With the gamble fire and now the 155. Yesterday toward the end of the day, 155 and gamble were a couple hundred acres. Overnight they yue to 4,500 and 5,000, respectively. From 60 known line strikes yesterday. There are all little spots, smoking up there. Even some trees in the crotch at the bottom where they come out of ground.

Test test captions Copyright National cable satellite corp. 2008 as i described in my testimony, we know that Nursing Homes with a higher proportion of black and latin residents have higher death rates, however theres not universal reporting of the race and ethnicity of those individuals within Nursing Homes who have been affected by covid. That presents for us a significant challenge when it comes to targeting resources in order to prevent the transmission of covid. Because, you know, when covid19 enters a nursing home its because someone has brought it in and what its telling us that if those Nursing Homes are following the same safety procedures of restricts visitors, ensuge that providers have clean ppe every time theyre coming in, then we shouldnt see these disparities. However we do. And the likelihood these disparities in rates of covid infections within Nursing Homes are going to occur are going to be even higher in communities with a higher burden of covid19. And so what were
