The People’s Committee of Yen Bai province has issued a document on activities in response to World No Tobacco Day (May 31) and National No Tobacco Week under the theme “Promise to quit smoking” from May 25-31, 2021.

The province will enhance activities on preventing the harmful effects of tobacco through interdisciplinary cooperation in building plans and deploying activities on preventing the harmful effects of tobacco; continuing incorporating content on preventing the harmful effects of tobacco in annual action plans, enforcing strict no smoking rules at workplaces and incorporating it into internal regulations of agencies and units; putting No smoking” signs at public places.
