PurposeTo publicly launch the WHO Guideline for non-surgical management of chronic primary low back pain in adults in primary and community care settings (the ‘Guideline’), to provide evidence based non-surgical care recommendations for chronic primary low back pain (CPLBP) to be implemented in countries. The event should mark the start of awareness-raising efforts for the Guideline among Member States, professional organisations, WHO collaborating centres and civil society organisations as an important tool to strengthen primary care health systems to address CPLBP.
