This article discusses some important amendments that have taken place with respect to the processing time stipulated for certain administrative procedures relating to the registration, renewal and protection of trademarks, among other things.</p>
<p>🕑<i> 1 minute</i></p><p>Peru is a signatory to 19 treaties administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization. The purpose of these treaties is to continue promoting the reactivation and subsequent strengthening of the economy, by putting in place protective measures in the field of intellectual property. In 2022, the National Institute of the Defence of Competition and Intellectual Property Protection has signed five international agreements on behalf of the Peruvian state.</p>
