Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): A series of training on Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) was conducted in Longjang, Longpha, and Khanimu villages under Kubolong block in Mokokchung district on November 5 and 6. The training was initiated under the project for creating clusters of model gram panchayats to achieve holistic and sustainable development through institutional strengthening of gram panchayats and enablement of quality GPDP across India, a DIPR report stated. The training programme was held in coordination with the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD & PR), Ministry of Rural Panchayati Raj (MoPR).
