Decided that her department would take over security at this years fair. So instead of private Security Guards who youve seen in years past, those are the people you see at the the fairgoers are seeing. There are a lot of them. Some armed with rifles or tactical gear. There is no direct threats made against the fair but the county and the fair management and Law Enforcement want to reassure citizens they are safe coming here. Not only have a lot more deputies working today but we also have a lot of special teams. We have our off road motorcycles sand regular motorcycles and k9s that sniff bombs and ammunition.
