A resolution at the Ihumātao must recognise they are the primary mana whenua group at Ihumātao, allow them the principal say in whether the land is used for housing or held in their trust on behalf of Aotearoa New Zealand, and reactivate their Treaty of Waitangi Claim (Wai 2401) under their name.
