A: I appreciate the good photographs. As mentioned on the placard information L. Szanto was born in Hungary in 1889 and came to New York in the 1920s and lived until 1965. He produced landscapes, etchings, portraits, religious murals, nudes, bronze figural sculptures and was also an illustrator.
