For 22 years i have served with you. First, and his team as a delicate. Then as attorney general, and now as governor. While this public chapter of my life draws to a close, ive realized im not the only one saying farewell. Tonight. So tonight i want to say on behalf of a grateful commonwealth, that we all salute the Great Service of our Lieutenant Governor bill bolling, was redefined his office as a jobs creator, a policy leader, and a cabinet member, and presided over the senate with grace. Thank you, bill, for over two decades of outstanding service. [cheers and applause] will probably be fishing on monday. I also want to recognize the Great Service of attorney general Ken Cuccinelli and thinking for solid legal advice, strong conservative leadership and his care for the disenfranchised. I also want to welcome the 16 of Union Members who were sworn in earlier today. And i want to implore you, never forget the thrill of what youve experienced today. Because it will make you a better
There was a huge cheer from outside and it echoed and it echoed through the cabinet of the st. Paul cathedral. It was about freely returning the power back to people, back to businesses and away from the government. Britain and the
Going to tell me to stop talking and let someone else speak, but, well, if we get to the point where it is imminent and we didnt do something about it when we could have, then the moment counts as imminent. Now, thats an interesting definition of imminent. And im not a lawyer, but at what level do we, the American People, or at least our elected representatives need to understand that . Justification number three is International Humanitarian law says states may use force in selfdefense, but what constitutes self defense . If isis in iraq is threatening the iraqi state and iraq is partner of ours, is a state that we have agreements with but not a treaty ally, does that constitute selfdefense . If we know about an alqaeda attack imminent not against the u. S. , but against a nato ally, does that count as selfdefense . If we know about an attack on a Shopping Mall where americans might be targets, does that count as selfdefense . And those are all really hard questions that there arent f
